Tale of Mystery

"The sudden strength of the guest of wind that entered nearly lifted us off our feet. It was as stormy night, but it was beautiful and terrible at the same time. A whirlwind had apparently collected its force in our vicinity, for there were frequent, violent changes in the direction of the wind. The thickness of the clouds, which were so low that they were pressing upon the towers of the house, did not prevent us from seeing the speed withe which they crashed against each other."              (From The Fall of the House of Usher

This book has three stories, The Fall of the House of Usher, The Oval Portrait, The Masque of the Read Death. These are mysteries but horror. I can read a lot of grotesque expression and the illustrations are also ominous. The book's writer is Edgar Allan Poe.

Honestly, I don't like these stories because the stories scares me. So I couldn't enjoy this book.
